The Weekly Quickie: Memento Mori, Crossfaith, Man with a Mission, landz.

Just announced, eccentric rock band, Memeno Mori will be disbanding after their live at Shinjuku BIRTH on 8/17.  Personally, this really bums me out.  Memento Mori was one of my favorite up and coming bands.  There are no details given on the reasons behind the break up, but you can find member comments on their homepage which has been kindly translated by Karu Suzume on the Facebook fan page.  We will continue to support them until the end and wish them luck in their future endeavors.

Good news for our East coast Crossfaith fans!  It's been recently announced that Crossfaith will tour with Amity Affliction which will take them through Florida, Georgia, New England and even a couple of stops in Canada.  They will perform with For the Fallen Dreams, Obey the Brave, and Favorite Weapon 10/7-10/18.  Check the homepage for details.

Man with a Mission is getting a push on the global market with a song featured in the commercial for the new BMW 4 Series Grand Coupe.  The song is "babylon" from the album Tales of Purefly.  The commercial started airing June 11 in Japan and can be seen on the BMW website.

And yet another hiatus.  landz. announced via their OHP that they will be taking a break due to personal reasons.  Their final live will take place on June 26 at Tsutaya O-West.  You can find a translation of the announcement over at Shattered Tranquility.

And that's the Quickie.  See you next time!
